After a very successful year one, Campbell Con returned for a bigger show Halloween weekend and featured celebrity guests, artists, vendors, cosplayers, panels, a Jurassic Park jeep, cosplay contest and trick-or-treat for kids. Celebration of all things pop culture from comic books to movies to fantasy and sci-fi aimed to bring the community together and gave fans an affordable show to enjoy with family and friends.

 

The Campbell Con 2016 celebrity guest lineup included fan-favorite Alison MacInnis (Pink Ranger in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue) and Jennifer Yen (Vypra in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue), The Land of the Giants’ Gary Conway and Deanna Lund, Jeffrey Weissman (George McFly in Back to the Future Part II and III), and Stephen Costantino (Gamorrean Guard in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi).

 

Fans will also be able to meet and do commissions from the renowned comic book artists including Chris Marrinan (Excalibur, Wonder Woman), John Heebink (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD), Mark Badger (Excalibur, Batman: Jazz, Spiderman Online), Steve Sherman (Kobra, Silver Star), Matt Hebb (Harry Walton: Henchman for Hire, Wonderdog Inc., Zombies vs Cheerleaders, Home) underground cartoonist Bruce Simon and Tobe Daranouvong (Villain Comic).

 

Attendees could also shop from various exhibitors and creators, meet local cosplayers and fan clubs, learn lightsaber fighting, and attend panels with the celebrity guests. The little ones dressed up in costumes were able to start their Halloween festivities early and trick-or-treat at the show.
